To those who loved Sarah as we have loved Sarah; we want you to have a safe opportunity to show that love and share in our memory of her and for that reason, we have put together some safety precautions to have in place because of Covid-19.
We are going to be organising 30 minute visitation periods at our home in St. Catharines (16 Cornwell Circle, L2S 3C6) between 10am and 5:30pm on Saturday, August 15, 2020. The periods available for visitation will be:
10:00-10:30 – first grouping
10:30-11:00 – break for sanitizing
11:00-11:30 – second grouping
11:30-12:00 – break for sanitizing
12:00-12:30 – third grouping
12:30-2:00 – break for the family for refreshments/lunch and to sanitize
2:00-2:30 – fourth grouping
2:30-3:00 – break for sanitizing
3:00-3:30 – fifth grouping
3:30-4:00 – break for sanitizing
4:00-4:30 – sixth grouping
4:30-5:00 – break for sanitizing
5:00-5:30 – final grouping
We are asking that each grouping consist of 20-25 people so that we can ensure proper social distancing in our backyard space. We please ask that you RSVP online for a specific time so we can have all of Sarah’s loved ones come and be evenly spread out throughout the day. Please include all the guests you expect with you and contact information so we can contact you immediately if an emergency situation presents itself.
We will be greeting each guest for sign in and for hand sanitizer when you arrive.
We please ask that you find refreshments and washrooms prior to your visit as we will be limiting the indoor space for immediate family only and cannot have our guests inside.
If you are experiencing any symptoms, even those resembling mild colds, we ask that you sign our online obituary and reserve a time in the future when symptoms have subsided to visit with Ken or family to pay your respects.
After each visitation grouping, we will be doing a thorough sanitizing of entry ways and areas to ensure the space is safe for the next group. Masks will be provided for those who don’t bring their own.
We ask that in lieu of deliveries for flowers, a donation be made to Sarah’s GoFundMe account, the link will be attached below.
We know that this may seem like a lot of precautionary measures but in order to meet with Provincial regulations and to ensure we’re being as safe as possible for Sarah’s loved ones, we believe these protocols will make it possible to celebrate a beautiful life in the safest way possible.
The stories of light and love from your lives with Sarah are what she would want us to hear and to share
